Miami International Fashion Week, the largest Latin American and international fashion event in the US will present the latest Spring preview of over 60 of the most exciting emerging and established designers from throughout North, South and Central America and the Caribbean as well as international designers from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Pakistan, Lebanon, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka and the Middle East to name just a few. Categories include women’s evening wear and prêt-a-porter, swimwear, men’s wear, jewelry and accessories.
Miami International Fashion Week celebrates its 12th year presenting these runway collections to over 600 international media and buyers from around the world. The event will take place at the Shops of Midtown in Miami’s trendy Wynwood Art District.
Registered buyers receive complimentary admission to the press shows, priority seating, trend and international business seminars, private meetings with the designers, hotel discounts, 20% discount on flights with COPA Airlines from destinations throughout Latin America, VIP special event invitations and more! Activities include a trends seminar by The Global Purchasing Group, as well as a business seminar hosted by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and moderated by the President of the World Trade Center Miami on today’s global fashion industry including topics on apparel copyrights and counterfeiting, plus a host of other industry professionals. The seminars will be held March 16th and 17th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm prior to the start of the shows.
All shows take place in the evening from 7:00pm – 10:00pm, while the days are filled with designer meetings, reviewing collections or you can shop ‘til you drop or just relax on one of the world’s finest beaches. Afterglow parties are held each night at Miami Beach‘s hottest nightclubs, restaurants, hotels and lounges.
