Beth Sobol, founder and developer of Fashion Week of the Americas
began her fashion career as a runway model in 1975. Based in Paris, her
modeling career would span twenty years and cover more than 26 countries
as she worked with the worlds top fashion designers, choreographers,
make-up artists and hair stylists. In 1996, Sobol
Fashion Productions, Inc. was created and quickly became one of the
most sought after full service fashion show Production Companys
in the US and Latin America. SFP offers all aspects of fashion and event
production from concept development to execution with a client base consisting
of local, international and major US fashion designers, national and international
fashion design companies, international special event Production Companies,
charity and fund raising groups, foundations, national fashion associations,
international designer salons, fashion magazines, trade show management
companies, public relations companies, merchandise marts, shopping malls,
art galleries and private educational institutions. At the request of more than 20 of the top fashion designers throughout
Latin America, in 1999, Sobol
Fashion Productions launched the first Fashion Week of the Americas,
which has since become the largest Latin American fashion event in the
US and the ultimate showcase for Latin fashion, beauty, style, music and
culture. Ms. Sobol is also the Executive Director of the Council of Latin American
Fashion Designers, Inc. which promotes the designers via Fashion Week
of the Americas. |
