 The Fall 2002 collections took place on March 19-23, 2002 at the
Fashion Tents erected directly on the beach at 24th Street
and Collins Avenue in Miami Beach, Florida. New components of the Event
included concerts by top Latin entertainers, a fine jewelry exhibition, a fine art and art as fashion exhibition by internationally renowned Brazilian artist, Romero Britto.
In the 2002 edition, Fashion icon Mary McFadden presented her 2002 Fall Couture
collection as the Fashion Week of the America's closing designer show. Ms. McFadden is the first
non-Hispanic designer to be presented with the Lifetime Achievement in
Fashion Award from the Council of Latin American Fashion Designers. |
