Miami Fashion Week Foundation, Inc.
The Miami Fashion Week Foundation, Inc.is a § 501(c)(3) independent, not-for-profit organization that has been formed as the entity to accept corporate and private contributions forcharitable and philanthropic initiatives. While operating year-round, its primary fund raising activities will be connected to Miami Fashion Week.
The Organization will make distributions of the money raised to other § 501(c)(3) organizations, with the intention to focus on charitable and educational organizations that are of concern to the international fashion and design community. This includes, but is not limited to:
1) § 501(c)(3) organizations that provide scholarships and educational assistance to students interested in fashion design;
2) Not-for-profit schools that train students in fashion design, or specific programs at colleges or universities that train students in fashion design;
3) § 501(c)(3) organizations that are dedicated to a cure for Breast Cancer or HIV/AIDS;
4) § 501(c)3) organizations that provide for disaster relief in the and in Latin America.
